AI & IoT Maker: Smart Care Devices
Recommended: 4 × 3h · 12 hours
Read sensors, design conditions and use AI to understand the code behind an everyday device.
Register your interest →Who is it for?
School and institutional groups of high-school students. Teacher and adult formats can be tailored to skills and equipment.
What will you work towards?
Understand input–condition–output automation
A prototype using sensors, buttons and a motor
A code revision and test log, plus a one-minute presentation
How much time should you plan?
Standard 12-hour format includes demonstrations, individual work, troubleshooting, feedback and saving.
Short format: The original four-session, eight-hour format uses a prepared example or one limited function.
Output scope is adjusted to the learners’ starting level.
What will you explore?
The earlier four-session, eight-hour smart-care outline is extended to 12 hours, allowing for wiring, troubleshooting, rebuilding and team presentations. Simulation and physical kits remain separate.
01 Automation and sensors
- Practice
- Simulate LEDs, buttons and light sensors; interpret code with AI
- Output
- An automatic-light simulation
02 Smart-care behaviour
- Practice
- Design distance sensing, servo movement, conditions and delays
- Output
- A circuit concept and behaviour scenario
03 ET-Board hardware
- Practice
- Connect the board, read sensors, show status and debug
- Output
- A hardware input/output test log
04 Build and present
- Practice
- Assemble the kit, repeat tests and improve a feature
- Output
- A care-device prototype, such as a feeder, and a presentation
